This day will feature a park clean-up followed by tree planting, with the aim of enhancing the beauty and health of Oakwood Park while promoting environmental sustainability. Whether you're a first-time volunteer or an eco-enthusiast, there’s a place for everyone to make a positive impact.
Key activities
Community clean-up: Help us clean up oakwood park by removing litter, debris, and waste from trails, playgrounds, and green spaces. Volunteers will be provided with gloves, bags, and cleaning supplies.
Tree planting: Volunteers will plant native trees and shrubs to support local biodiversity and contribute to long-term environmental health.
Eco-education stations: Learn about the environmental benefits of tree planting, the importance of maintaining clean green spaces, and sustainable living practices.
